Synopsis: The story takes place in Germany in the 80 and 90. Kenzou Tenma is a very renowned neurosurgeon from Dusseldorf, whose bride is the daughter of the director of the hospital where he works. One day two twins are admitted to the hospital, one of them having a serious dammage in the head because of a bullet. Tenma saves him, but this event will change his life. The twins disappear, his supperiors are murdered, and he is the main suspect. So, Tenma flees, to found the true guilty of those crimes, including a serie of murders in all Germany: the monster. It's a story about nazi Germany, secret police, the resurence of a new Hitler and terror.
Opinión personal/ Personal Opinion ( NO SPOILER):
Es con diferencia of the series that I like most anime. First the drawing is very original and expressive, a bit like the films of Studio Ghibli. Then, the argument itself, the way they are treated is almost a masterpiece: it's fun and exciting from start to finish, is innovative (which expires in Germany for example), and the characters are so vivid and real that you can identify with them. The emergence of the themes of psychopathy, terror, loneliness and the deformation of the human being make it a series sinister and well achieved, without a hint of drama free or cheap and excesses of pathos, as is often the animes. Finally, it is an entirely realistic, framed in a society still traumatized by the communist regime's repression, informs us in a very entertaining in the contemporary history of Eastern Europe (better than going to school!).
This is, with a huge difference, one of the bests That anime series i have ever seen. First of all the draw is very original and expressive, like in Studio Ghibli films. Then, the story and the way That she is Exposed is Almost a masterpiece: it's exciting from the Beginning UNTIL the end, it's Innovative (The Fact That It Takes place in Germany for example) and the characters are so alive and real That it's easy to Identify with Them. The themes of Psychopathy, fear, solitude, and deformation of human being, create a well made sinister series, Without All That shabby dramatism so tipical of animes. So finally it's a realistic number, framed in a traumatized Because of COMUNISTES goverment Society, That it teach us a lot of story europe Est (That Better go to school!).
