Hi all, here beginning the year with a criticism of this series, well, it's fun, it hurts the otaku always throw shit, without even fucking seen.
With Panty & Stocking Garterbelt is an anime (yes, anime) Gainax study, also known as FLCL , Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann and hordes of otaku by Neon Genesis Evangelion (which by the way, Rebuilds SUCK). The story is virtually nonexistent, come on, is made in the style of the cartoons of the years 90 (especially in Powerpuff Girls, Invader Zim and Ren & Stympy, but with a more adult mind is abysmal), the theme it is basically simple, get on TV, see feedings happens, cágate of laughter, and bring you back to work, as the 90, (as if to egg, would you expect?, a fucking love story, or what?)
The animation is to emulate the 90's cartoons, especially the Cartoon Network, ie stupidly highlighted edges, and the curiosity that each episode is divided into two mini-chapters (as in 90). In addition to that sometimes used computer effects, which bring out a little more, but it shows that cost them an egg to add to the animation, you notice the low boxes, and one feels choppy, but there in all, the animation is good. Also, that at times decide to animation Japanese traditional, but this time more than anything is to give fanservice, so if they appear or not, are not for long.
As for sound, it is decent, try to make pop music a la Britney Spears, and the occasional cartoonish tone but nothing memorable (as in 90). As for voices, super sobreactuadisimas are trying to emulate the American accent accent on the east coast especially in New York City, but nothing more I heard the terrible torments the action they do, but hey, that mother is being worth I still think it was on purpose.
As to opening, it is rock, with the animation thing short and repeating the name of the series all the time as if you were a fucking pokemon, but we did so to emulate a cartoon opening noventera. Besides the ending is pop, is memorable and the net if you know the name of who sings pasenselo, because I liked his voice.
If you are a kid at heart, and remember the 90's cartoons like Invader Zim, Ren & Stympy Monsters, this series I highly recommend it, although he has been a topic too old, I guarantee you will remember those glorious moments of your childhood, that is, a total chaos for fun. If you like shows like Drawn Together, Ugly Americans and South Park, take a look, it's more of what you like, you can even get honey. But an otaku Tart of Gainax, you expected something like Evangelion or Gurren-Lagann, because you'll fuck your shit, honestly this is the most risky that Gainax has released to date, thank you stop for a moment to squeeze monsters of Japanese animation, and draw it, god, yet still slaughtering the little dignity you have left to Evangelion, the net, and several colleagues are up to the mother of that series, and gave him a horrible final fuck, and let it rest in peace.
